about

Melissa Woehler is a passionate Menstruality Mentor who believes the power of menstrual cycle awareness (MCA) can help restore balance to the world and the way we all live. She’s a graduate of the Menstruality Leadership Program offered by the Red School, UK.

The founders, Alexandra Pope & Sjanie Hugo-Wurlitzer have been working for over 40 years to develop both a mindfulness practise (MCA) and a new language to help menstruators understand and talk about their cycle experience.

She is also a FEMM (fertility education & medical management) teacher and works with clients to educate and guide them in understanding the endocrinology and physiology of the menstrual cycle - including their own. She works with a network of FEMM medical practitioners to refer clients who may require additional or further treatment to help restore their cycle to a healthy one. And she offers support in approaching your family physician with hormone and period-related issues so this incredibly important marker of health is not overlooked.

FEMM is a scientific knowledge and prevention-based reproductive health program which teaches women to understand and monitor their hormonal and other vital signs of health at all stages of reproductive life.

She's also mother to one amazing little girl who WILL grow up in a cycle-literate world that honours, respects and celebrates the menstrual cycle.
